My name is Mercedes Henley and I am passionate about making my mark in the real estate industry as a professional. Honesty and integrity, as well as a dedication to serve, are some of the philosophies that I have adhered to not only in my professional life but also in my personal one.
These traits have pushed me to strive for more and remain steadfast when it comes not only to my career but also my family. I was born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon, which I consider to be one of the most remarkable places on earth! The location is larger than life with wild beauty that takes your breath away and is home to incredibly welcoming people. I spend my free time outdoors fishing, hiking, hunting and camping with my family and would love to bring that same experience to my clients with homes they could live in for generations.
I have three years of experience working for the Yukon Hospital in environmental services. I studied real estate at UBC Sauder School of Business and completed my schooling in less than five months with three babies under five years of age! I really got into the profession when I sold my first house with my fiancé.
The entire process was what really ignited my passion for the profession and how it can change lives for the better. I believe that buying and selling a home is a major milestone for any couple, family or individual who wants to be independent. It should be a memorable experience that involves the whole family and I relish the chance of making it happen for others.
Plus, I understand that each buying and selling process is unique and I really enjoy getting to know my clients to determine what they are looking for in a home. To ensure they have a hassle-free experience from start to finish, I also offer to move them to their new home for free.
That realization eventually led me to Re/Max Action Realty, where I am currently employed as an agent helping clients narrow down their investment options to make informed decisions that can improve their portfolios.
